About me

I identify with values such as respect, sharing and openness to change, generosity and honesty in artistic creation. As a professional, I value commitment, good communication, dedication and consistency.

I found the pleasure of movement in various practices, and feeling the benefits of the technique, I trust consistency as a tool for intelligent work. I recognize my body language within an organic approach, and respecting the human anatomy I try to expand my comfort zone through the necessary harmony for physical and mental health.

As a dancer and performer, I try to exercise a thinking body that works according to some pertinence or pleasure.

As a contemporary dance, creative dance and classical dance teacher for over 4 years, I try to convey to my students the practices that I apply to myself and the benefits of them. I resort to somatic techniques such as Yoga and self-defense as a complement.

My approach as a creator persists in the intention of communicating something to the viewer, provoking sensations and/or reflections.   Grasping concepts that disturb, intrigue and awaken me, I try to develop the artistic object faithful to the research process. I am interested in the confrontation between the realization of the imaginary world and the coherence that pertains to the artistic work. Among other work methodologies, I invariably involve improvisation as a creative power, writing as a reflective action and observation as an act of selection. As I consider simplicity one of the most attractive beauties, this is a specificity that I try to convey in my projects.

I believe in the enrichment that art enables at the intersection of people, namely in artistic collaborations, where ideas are developed from different perspectives, promoting creativity and quality of artistic content.
